A different answer to the mithai box

The Baklava Box began in Kolkata with a simple observation: India gifts sweets constantly, but the box itself had stopped meaning anything. We set out to change what arrives at the door. Mediterranean craft, a Bengal pantry, and packaging you keep on the shelf long after the last piece is gone.

The craft

Our phyllo is stretched by hand in our own kitchen, forty layers to a tray, the way it has been done across the Mediterranean for centuries. Every batch is baked to order by our chefs, soaked in a dark-amber syrup that is reduced slowly so the pastry stays crisp and the sweetness stays adult. Nothing sits in a warehouse. Nothing waits.

The ingredients

Iranian pistachio. Kashmiri walnut. Medjool-grade dates and dry fruits picked by hand. Everything we make is 100% vegetarian and eggless, with zero preservatives and no shortcuts. Sealed boxes keep for around 30 days at room temperature, because the syrup is the preservative, the way it should be.

Every order leaves gift-ready in our navy and gold box. We print your note on a card, we never include the price, and we ship express across India within 24 to 48 hours of baking. From a single birthday box to ten thousand corporate hampers, the standard does not move.
